TPCC Chief accuses BRS of betrayal, calls it political suicide

HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC Chief) Mahesh Kumar Goud launched a scathing attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), alleging that the party betrayed public trust and has effectively committed political suicide. His remarks have stirred significant debate in political circles.

Addressing the media, Goud accused the KCR-led BRS government of neglecting public issues, focusing instead on benefiting a select few within the ruling family and close associates. He said the administration was built on false promises and the electorate responded decisively in recent elections.

He further claimed that BRS hindered the state’s progress, promoted corruption, and failed to address rising unemployment, thereby sealing its own downfall. “The people are now aware and will not give fraudsters another chance,” he stated.

The TPCC Chief emphasised that the Congress government is committed to transparent, accountable, and development-driven governance focused on public welfare. He urged the people to continue placing their trust in the Congress and ensure that the past misgovernance is not repeated.

There has been no official response yet from BRS regarding Goud’s statement. However, political analysts view this as part of the escalating war of words and intensifying political atmosphere in Telangana.
