Tirupati devotee donates Rs.10.01 lakh to TTD Pranadana Trust

Hyderabad: A Tirupati devotee donated Rs.10,01,116 to the TTD Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust on Saturday to support its activities. The contribution was made by Vishnu Prasad, who handed over a demand draft to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at his camp office in Tirumala.

Meanwhile, two pharmaceutical businesses donated medicines worth a combined Rs.18 lakh to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The medicines will support medical services for devotees during the annual Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams.

G. Shravan Kumar, proprietor of SSK Pharma Distributors, Hyderabad, contributed medicines worth Rs.15 lakh. Separately, Talasila Venkateswara Rao, head of Indu Drugs Private Limited, donated medicines worth Rs.3 lakh.

On Saturday, TTD Board Member Nannapaneni Sadashiva Rao met TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu at the chairman’s camp office in Tirumala. He handed over the medicines on behalf of the two donors to support arrangements for devotees during the festival.

The contributions included financial assistance to the Pranadana Trust and medical supplies for the annual celebrations. TTD said the medicines would help support medical services for devotees attending the Brahmotsavams.
