TGSRTC bus accident damages car, fuel station equipment at Batasingaram

Hyderabad: A TGSRTC bus accident created panic at Batasingaram under Abdullapurmet police limits after the vehicle lost control and entered a petrol bunk. The bus struck a car and then crashed into the fuel dispensing area, damaging equipment at the station. No casualties were reported in the accident.

The TGSRTC bus belonged to the Dilsukhnagar depot. It was travelling towards Choutuppal when the driver lost control of the vehicle at Batasingaram. The bus first crashed into a car at the petrol bunk. Subsequently, it moved into the diesel dispensing area and hit equipment installed at the fuel station.

The impact damaged both the car and equipment at the pump. However, despite the bus entering the fuel dispensing area, the incident did not result in any reported casualties.

CCTV cameras installed at the petrol bunk captured the TGSRTC bus accident. The footage recorded the vehicle entering the premises and the subsequent collision. Abdullapurmet police took up an investigation into the incident. Officers were examining the circumstances that caused the bus to lose control and crash into the petrol bunk.

The accident involved a bus operating from the Dilsukhnagar depot towards Choutuppal. Police continued their investigation to establish the circumstances leading to the crash.
