Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) announced 290 engineering vacancies on Telangana Formation Day, providing a major opportunity for engineering graduates seeking government jobs.
TGPSC released three recruitment notifications to fill posts in the Roads and Buildings Department and the Telangana Pollution Control Board.
The largest notification covers 222 Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) posts in the Roads and Buildings Department.
In addition, the commission announced 49 Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) vacancies in the same department.
Further, TGPSC invited applications for 19 Assistant Environmental Engineer posts in the Telangana Pollution Control Board.
Candidates between 18 and 44 years of age are eligible to apply. However, age relaxation will apply according to government norms.
Engineering vacancies open across key departments
The application process for Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) posts will begin on June 6 and continue until July 13.
Meanwhile, applications for Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) posts will be accepted from June 8 to July 15.
Applications for Assistant Environmental Engineer posts will open on June 10 and close on July 17.
Officials said candidates must submit applications through the official TGPSC portal.
Moreover, applicants should review detailed notifications for eligibility conditions, syllabus, examination pattern and selection procedures.
The commission said the recruitment drive would create substantial employment opportunities for engineering graduates across Telangana.
Therefore, aspirants have been advised to complete the application process within the prescribed deadlines and prepare according to the notified examination pattern.
