Hyderabad: Students from the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society delivered strong results in TGMREIS EAPCET 2026, with 1,715 students qualifying in the Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy entrance examination.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, TGMREIS secretary B. Shafiullah said 2,273 students from the society’s junior colleges appeared for the examination. Out of them, 1,715 students qualified, recording a pass percentage of 75.4.
A total of 727 students secured qualification in the Engineering stream, while 988 students cleared the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. In Engineering, 319 boys and 408 girls qualified. Likewise, 318 boys and 670 girls qualified in the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream.
TGMREIS EAPCET 2026 records strong girl student performance
The results reflected a strong performance by girl students across both streams. Meanwhile, Mukaram Ahmed secured Rank 1 in the examination.
In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, Wajeeda Tabassum secured Rank 488, while Mohammad Shahbaaz obtained Rank 614. Similarly, Md Zaidan secured Rank 3199 and K. Suraj obtained Rank 5037. In the Engineering stream, Mohammad Affan Ahmed secured Rank 5422.
Meanwhile, parents and students thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for supporting minority education and strengthening residential schooling facilities.
In addition, Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin and TGMREIS Vice Chairman and President Mohammed Faheemuddin Qureshi congratulated the students, teachers and parents for the achievement. They also appreciated the efforts of institutions in maintaining academic standards.
Further, Shafiullah urged parents to utilise educational opportunities available in TGMREIS institutions by enrolling their children in schools and junior colleges run by the society. He said the institutions were consistently producing strong academic results with quality education, experienced faculty, competitive coaching and modern infrastructure.
