Telangana Youth Congress protests over NEET paper leak

Hyderabad: The Telangana Youth Congress staged a protest against the NEET paper leak at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund as part of the nationwide “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign. The protesters demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him morally responsible for the controversy.

Demonstrators also burned an effigy of the Union minister during the protest.

NEET paper leak protest held in Hyderabad

Telangana Youth Congress President Jakkidi Shivacharan Reddy led the demonstration. State Youth Congress In-charge Khalid and Co-in-charge Roshini Jaiswal also attended the programme as chief guests.

Addressing the gathering, Shivacharan Reddy accused the Central government of putting the future of lakhs of students at risk. He said the Youth Congress would intensify its agitation until the Union Education Minister resigned.

The protest formed part of the nationwide “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign launched by the Youth Congress.

Khairatabad District Youth Congress President Haridhar, State General Secretary Majid, Gurram Shyam Charan Reddy, Khaisar and Secunderabad District Youth Congress President Madhusudan also participated in the programme.
