Telangana people will teach Revanth Reddy a lesson, says RS Praveen Kumar

Hyderabad: BRS state general secretary RS Praveen Kumar on Saturday alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was resorting to vindictive and diversionary politics. He said the people of Telangana would teach the Congress government a lesson for misusing power.

Speaking at the Rangadampally Martyrs’ Memorial in Siddipet, Praveen Kumar denied any political role in the alleged phone tapping case. He accused the Congress of using the investigation as a tool to target opposition leaders.

Praveen Kumar said no Chief Minister personally orders surveillance or supplies phone numbers, dismissing the allegations as a political smokescreen. He claimed the Congress government was using the case to divert attention from pressing public issues.

He likened the current administration to “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” alleging widespread scams and media manipulation. The BRS leader said selective leaks from the SIT were intended to malign the image of political opponents.

He also questioned the motives behind issuing notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. “How can ministers visit Erravelli to invite KCR for Sammakka Saralamma Jathara, while police simultaneously serve notices at his house?” he asked.

Praveen Kumar concluded that the public would not tolerate such double standards and would respond through democratic means.
