Telangana Vision Document reflects people’s aspirations, says Bhatti Vikramarka

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said the Telangana Vision Document is not a top-down policy but a collective roadmap shaped through expert input and public consultation. He described it as a reflection of the people’s aspirations, not just a government publication.

Speaking at the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City in Rangareddy district, Bhatti underlined that the document outlines the state’s long-term development path up to 2047. He said it includes clear goals for both economic progress and environmental sustainability.

Telangana aims for Net Zero emissions by 2047

“The state aims to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2047. Economic development and environmental protection are not opposing goals. We are pursuing both together,” he said.

Bhatti said Telangana’s identity lies in how it treats guests and highlighted that the state has never lacked ambition. What had been missing, he said, was a unifying vision to direct the collective strength of its people.

“We are unveiling that vision today. It is not for one year or one election cycle. It is a long-term strategy that reaches forward to 2047,” he added.

The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that the document was created through a democratic process, drawing on suggestions from noted personalities, subject experts, and citizens. He said this inclusive approach ensures the plan resonates with the wider population.
