Hyderabad: Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation Limited launched a new Telangana Tourism package featuring a one-day pilgrimage and heritage tour that connects some of the state’s leading spiritual, cultural and handloom destinations.
The new circuit covers Hyderabad, Yadagirigutta, Shilparamam, Kolanpaka Jain Temple, Swarnagiri Temple, Bhoodan Pochampally and returns to Hyderabad. The initiative aims to provide an affordable and comfortable travel experience while promoting Telangana’s religious, cultural and handloom heritage.
Telangana Tourism package itinerary
The tour begins in Hyderabad with boarding points at Yatri Nivas, Secunderabad at 7:00 am, Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet at 7:15 am and the Central Reservation Office, Basheerbagh at 7:30 am.
First, visitors will have darshan at the Sri Yadagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. They will then enjoy breakfast at Haritha Hotel in Yadagirigutta. Afterward, the tour will continue to Shilparamam before visitors explore the historic Kolanpaka Jain Temple.
Next, tourists will have lunch at Vivera Hotel in Bhuvanagiri. They will then visit Swarnagiri Temple before travelling to Bhoodan Pochampally, which is internationally known for its Ikat handloom weaving tradition. Finally, the group will enjoy hi-tea at Haritha Hotel and return to Hyderabad by around 7:30 pm.
The package includes round-trip travel in an air-conditioned mini bus, breakfast, South Indian vegetarian lunch, hi-tea and temple darshan. The corporation has fixed the tariff at ₹2,070 for adults and ₹1,770 for children.
Interested visitors can make bookings and enquiries through the Central Reservation Office, Basheerbagh. They can also reserve their seats through Telangana Tourism’s official booking portal.
