Telangana approves ₹360 crore for revenue office buildings

Hyderabad: The Telangana government approved administrative sanctions worth ₹360 crore for constructing permanent revenue office buildings across the State, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced on Tuesday. The Minister made the announcement during a review meeting on ongoing construction projects. He said the first phase includes ₹263 crore to replace 107 dilapidated Tahsildar offices and build 10 Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) offices that currently operate from rented premises.

In addition, the government allocated ₹97 crore to construct 48 Sub-Registrar offices. The funding also covers District Registrar offices in Adilabad, Khammam and Mahabubnagar, along with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) offices in Nizamabad and Warangal.

Furthermore, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said all new buildings will follow a standard design and include modern facilities. He added that the Telangana Housing Corporation will execute the construction work.
