KCR condoles demise of former MLA Kommidi Narsimha Reddy

Hyderabad: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) condoled the death of Kommidi Narsimha Reddy, a veteran Telangana movement activist and former Bhongir MLA. He remembered the late leader’s contributions to the Telangana movement and his lifelong commitment to public service.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, KCR described Kommidi Narsimha Reddy as a leader who remained closely connected to the people. He said the former MLA upheld simplicity, integrity and honesty throughout his political career.

The BRS chief also recalled Narsimha Reddy’s role in the Bhoodan movement. He said the veteran leader donated hundreds of acres of his land to people in need and actively participated in the 1969 Telangana agitation.

Furthermore, KCR praised his efforts to protect the Musi River and secure Godavari river water for Telangana. He said those initiatives reflected the former MLA’s commitment to the State’s long-term interests.

Kommidi Narsimha Reddy remembered for public service

KCR said K Narsimha Reddy made exceptional contributions to society and the Telangana cause through decades of public life. He noted that the veteran leader consistently worked for issues affecting ordinary people.

Finally, the BRS president extended his condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for the family to find strength during their time of grief while remembering K Narsimha Reddy for his lasting public service.
