As per official allocations, the 10 corporations include one seat each for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), three for Backward Classes (BC), and one for the general category. In municipalities, the government has allotted 17 chairperson posts to SCs, five to STs, 38 to BCs, and 61 to the general category.

Additionally, the government published a detailed list of reservations for municipal chairperson posts based on caste and gender.
Several municipalities including Kalwakurthy, Bhongir, and Sangareddy—have been designated for women (General). Others such as Mahabubabad and Bhoothpur fall under ST (General), while Station Ghanpur and Kohir have gone to SC (General). Municipalities like Choppadandi and Huzurabad have been set aside for SC (Women).
In total, 42 municipalities have been reserved for the Backward Classes. These include Jagtiyal, Kamareddy, Zaheerabad, and Siddipet, split between BC (Women) and BC (General).
