Hyderabad: The Telangana government will organise Telangana Raksha Expo 2026 at Bharat Future City in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9. The Expo will form a major part of the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju said. He announced the event while addressing News18 DEFCON 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday.
Jaju invited global aerospace and defence companies, Indian manufacturers, MSMEs, startups and technology developers to participate. He also asked them to explore investment and sourcing opportunities in Telangana.
The Expo will have a strong business focus, including curated business-to-business meetings. Global original equipment manufacturers will interact directly with Indian companies, MSMEs, startups and sourcing teams.
These engagements will support vendor development and technology partnerships. They will also help integrate Indian suppliers into domestic and international supply chains.

Jaju invited global companies to send senior executives, procurement heads and sourcing teams to the Summit. He urged participants to book exhibition space and showcase their capabilities.
He also asked companies to join B2B sessions and pursue investment proposals, sourcing partnerships and MoUs. During his address, Jaju highlighted Telangana’s aerospace and defence export performance. He said exports in the sector had grown by 103 per cent during 2025-26.
The Chief Secretary also highlighted the state’s network of strategic research institutions and defence public sector undertakings. Telangana had nearly 1,500 to 2,000 precision-engineering MSMEs, he said.
In addition, the state was expanding its capabilities across several advanced technology segments. These included drones and counter-drone systems, avionics, advanced materials, propulsion and space technologies.
Jaju said Telangana was also strengthening aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities. Telangana Raksha Expo 2026 will provide companies with a platform to explore these sectors and potential partnerships.
