Hyderabad: Labour and Employment Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Saturday announced the launch of Advanced Training Centre (ATC) construction across Telangana under a ₹4,000 crore employment initiative.
He laid the foundation stone for one such centre in Naskal village, Pargi constituency. The project reflects a key promise of the Congress government — to create future-ready, skill-based jobs for educated youth.
The initiative, executed in collaboration with TTL, spans several constituencies. So far, authorities have sanctioned 52 standalone ATCs for rural areas. The Naskal unit will cost ₹45.15 crore and is scheduled for completion within a year.

Centres to provide industry-focused training
Dr. Venkatswamy said the ATCs would deliver job-oriented training aligned with industry needs. He urged young people to stay open to opportunities wherever they emerge, especially as industries expand across the state.
He acknowledged financial limitations but reaffirmed the government’s commitment to public welfare. Criticising the previous administration, he said it left the state burdened with debt while ignoring job creation and housing needs.
He added that the current government remains focused on providing housing for all eligible citizens. Lakhs of Indiramma homes are being sanctioned in phases across all constituencies, he noted.
Pargi MLA T. Rammohan Reddy, who attended the foundation ceremony, expressed gratitude to the Minister for approving the project. He said the new ATC would significantly enhance job prospects for local youth.
