Solidarity rallies for Indian Army held across Telangana; Muslims salute forces

Hyderabad: Citizens across Telangana came out in visible support of the Indian Army, organising rallies and demonstrations in multiple districts as a mark of solidarity with the forces amid rising border tensions.

In Yadagirigutta, locals held a patriotic rally, waving national flags and marching through offices and streets to show their backing for the armed forces. The gathering paused at the town’s main bus stand to pay floral tributes to the fallen soldier Murali Naik, commemorating his service and sacrifice.

In a particularly striking gesture in Huzurnagar, Suryapet district, members of the Muslim community openly saluted the Indian Army. Demonstrators raised slogans condemning Pakistan and held placards expressing their allegiance to the nation. The move was widely appreciated by bystanders and highlighted a unifying sense of national pride cutting across religious lines.

Meanwhile, in Madhira, located in the Khammam district, the Telugu Desam Party led a public rally in support of the military. Participants marched with banners and shouted slogans lauding the Indian armed forces for their bravery and commitment.

These events, spread across diverse regions of Telangana, underscore a growing grassroots movement to stand visibly and vocally with India’s soldiers during a time of regional uncertainty.
