Hyderabad: Police recovered 19 stolen laptops worth ₹7.60 lakh after Narayanguda police arrested a thief and the receiver in the case. Investigators linked the duo to 16 cases across three commissionerates.
The arrests were made by Narayanguda Police Station in the Khairatabad Zone. According to Hyderabad City Police, the thief targeted study halls during break hours.
Police said the stolen laptops were recovered during the investigation. The case involved both the person who allegedly stole the laptops and the receiver who allegedly accepted them.
The police action also revealed the scale of the theft operation. Meanwhile, investigators traced 16 cases connected to the accused across three commissionerates.
