Hyderabad: ISKCON Temple traffic in Abids was mildly affected by a heavy rush of devotees on the occasion of Sri Krishnastami. Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic alert after devotees gathered at the temple for darshan.
The traffic police said congestion developed in and around the temple premises. Meanwhile, commuters using roads near the temple faced some disruption because of the increased movement of devotees.
Hyderabad Traffic Police advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly. Officials also asked motorists to avoid unnecessary travel through the areas surrounding the temple.
According to the traffic alert, commuters were asked to follow instructions issued by traffic personnel. The police also urged the public to cooperate with staff deployed to regulate vehicle movement.
The traffic police said the deployment aimed to maintain smooth movement around the temple premises. Staff from the Abids traffic police unit were deployed to manage the situation.

The rush was linked to devotees arriving for darshan during Sri Krishnastami. As a result, traffic movement around the temple was mildly affected.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police specifically advised commuters to avoid the temple surroundings unless their travel was necessary. Drivers were also asked to follow directions from personnel managing traffic in the area.
Meanwhile, the police appealed to commuters and devotees to cooperate with the deployed staff. The advisory focused on reducing avoidable congestion and supporting smoother traffic movement around the temple.
