Sridhar Babu directs speedy completion of Bugga Padu Industrial Park

Hyderabad: Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Tuesday directed officials to fast-track infrastructure development at the Bugga Padu Industrial Park in Sathupalli, Khammam district, to facilitate early launch of industrial operations.

He chaired a high-level review meeting with TGIIC officials, joined by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and IT & Industries Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar.

Food park, MSME zone to begin industrial activity by January

The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) has developed a Mega Food Park, a Telangana Food Processing Zone, and an MSME Zone across a 200-acre site at Bugga Padu. With investor interest growing, Sridhar Babu urged officials to complete all civil works immediately.

He instructed the department to ensure that construction of industrial units in the Food Processing Park begins by January. He also asked officials to support land allottees in the 60-acre Mega Food Park in starting construction without delay.

The Food Processing Zone covers 80 acres and is attracting industries focused on agriculture and aquaculture. The adjoining MSME zone spans 60 acres and is part of Telangana’s push to promote rural industrialisation.

TGIIC Managing Director Shashank, Industries Commissioner Nikhil Chakravarthi, and Director (Investments) Madhusudan also attended the review meeting.
