Sport Expo India 2026 opens at HITEX Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Sport Expo India 2026 opened at the HITEX Exhibition Centre on Friday, bringing more than 50 exhibitors together for a two-day showcase of sports, fitness, nutrition and wellness.

The ninth edition of the exhibition features athletes, sporting brands, distributors, fitness communities, wellness professionals and consumers. They have gathered at the venue to showcase products, services and sporting innovations.

HITEX organised the event as a platform for the sports and fitness sector. The exhibition features live competitions, tournaments, demonstrations, product showcases and interactive activities.

Kuna Shankar, director of HITEX, inaugurated the expo along with Krishna Kumar Thakur, director (personnel), NMDC, and Rajesh Vetcha, race director of Hyderabad Runners.

Sport Expo India 2026 brings sports sector together

Sport Expo India 2026 was designed to connect athletes, professionals, brands, institutions and sports enthusiasts. According to Kuna Shankar, the expo provides a dedicated platform for interaction across the sector.

The event also serves as a curtain-raiser to the Hyderabad Marathon. Organisers expect more than 25,000 visitors during the exhibition.

Meanwhile, sporting brands can engage directly with consumers at the expo. Athletes, coaches and fitness enthusiasts can also explore new products and innovations.

The exhibition covers several areas linked to sports and active lifestyles. These include fitness, nutrition and wellness, alongside sporting equipment and related products.

Live sporting activities form another part of the event. Visitors can watch competitions and demonstrations while exploring the products displayed by participating exhibitors.

The two-day exhibition also brings together distributors and fitness communities. Furthermore, wellness professionals and consumers have an opportunity to interact with participating brands.

Free entry for visitors

Organisers said entry to Sport Expo India 2026 was free for visitors. The exhibition will continue at the HITEX Exhibition Centre as part of the two-day programme.

The event combines product showcases with live sporting activities and interactive experiences. It also provides a meeting point for athletes, brands, professionals and sports enthusiasts.
