Sport Expo India 2026 highlights Hyderabad’s growing sports ecosystem

Hyderabad: Sport Expo India 2026 at HITEX showcased Hyderabad’s growing sporting ecosystem through a two-day event. The ninth edition brought more than 50 exhibitors and sports stakeholders together.

Sports brands, manufacturers, athletes, fitness communities and wellness professionals participated in the expo. The event also brought enthusiasts together through competitions, demonstrations and interactive experiences.

Unlike a conventional product exhibition, the event focused on participation and engagement. Visitors could experience sporting activities while exploring products, fitness initiatives and wellness offerings.

The expo was inaugurated by Kuna Shankar, Krishna Kumar Thakur and Rajesh Vetcha. Meanwhile, organisers expected more than 25,000 visitors during the two-day event.

The event also set the stage for the Hyderabad Marathon. The marathon was described as one of India’s largest marathon events.
