Hyderabad: The Nadargul lands controversy intensified after the BRS alleged that around 274 acres in Survey Number 613 had gone to corporate companies. The party also alleged that farmers faced pressure and threats over agreements.
According to the BRS, followers of the Anumula brothers were attempting to secure agreements from farmers. The party claimed that deals were being finalised at Rs. 30 lakh per acre.
The BRS alleged that people who resisted inducements faced coercion and threats. It specifically referred to Yadaiya, who had previously opposed the move, as being pushed out of the land.
The party further claimed that the Number-2 Minister in the Congress government had earlier sought control of the lands through several companies. It alleged that farmers had initially resisted those efforts.
According to the BRS, protests over the lands had continued for decades. However, the party claimed that the area had now fallen silent amid the alleged attempts to secure the properties.
The BRS also raised questions over the revenue records concerning the disputed land. It claimed the properties remained recorded as state government land despite the reported transactions.

Despite this, the BRS alleged that agreements were being pursued and land deals were being finalised. It questioned why the Revenue Department had not acted against the alleged transactions.
The party also alleged that HYDRA staff and the administrative machinery had failed to intervene. It described the situation as authorities turning a blind eye to the revenue records.
