Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a site review of the ongoing Secunderabad station redevelopment works on Saturday, instructing officials to expedite construction and improve commuter services.
Srivastava, joined by CAO/Construction M. Ranadheer Reddy and Divisional Railway Manager Dr. Gopalakrishnan R., inspected the progress on multiple infrastructure components. These included Platforms 1 and 10, foot over bridges, escalators, passenger waiting halls, ticket booking counters, parking areas, and circulating zones.
He directed officials to intensify efforts for early project completion and stressed the importance of maintaining passenger comfort during the redevelopment. To that end, he called for better crowd flow systems, upgraded security, and enhanced assistance mechanisms to reduce inconvenience during ongoing work.
