Sanjay Jaju sets October 15 deadline for e-HRMS digitisation

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju directed officials to complete e-HRMS digitisation of government employee information by October 15. He said the move would support greater transparency in State administration.

Jaju reviewed the implementation of the e-Human Resource Management System and digital processes on Thursday. He held the meeting with senior officials from all government departments.

The Chief Secretary directed departments to place employee-related information on a single digital platform. The system will cover recruitment details, service records, salaries, allowances, promotions and ACRs. It will also include other services related to government employees.

Meanwhile, officials told Jaju that departments were entering information on around 3.48 lakh government employees into e-HRMS. They also reported progress across 38,710 offices.

e-HRMS digitisation covers 93 per cent of office data

Officials said they had completed around 93 per cent of the data entry for the 38,710 offices. Jaju directed them to finish the remaining work by the October 15 deadline.

In addition, Jaju asked the Finance Department to move e-Sanction orders completely online. He directed officials to integrate the relevant systems for financial services, sanctions and payments.

The Chief Secretary also focused on Direct Benefit Transfer processes. He directed officials to process DBT sanctions for beneficiaries transparently through Aadhaar-based authentication.

Further, Jaju instructed every department to appoint a Nodal Officer. The officers will oversee the implementation of e-HRMS and other digital processes within their respective departments.

The directions came as the State government continued work on digitising employee records and administrative services. Officials must complete the remaining e-HRMS data entry by October 15.
