Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday urged Telangana government employees to use AI for public services, improve administrative efficiency and ensure faster resolution of citizens’ grievances.
He said government employees must strengthen their knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and adapt to emerging technological developments. The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘AI Saksham’ training programme organised by TG MATH with support from the Planning Department.
The programme took place at the MCR HRD Institute in Hyderabad on October 28. Addressing the participants, Bhatti stressed that government employees should apply newly acquired technological skills to their daily administrative responsibilities.
Bhatti stresses AI for public services and grievance resolution
Bhatti Vikramarka said the adoption of Artificial Intelligence should extend beyond completing routine government work more quickly. He emphasised that technology must help departments resolve public grievances within a shorter period.
Moreover, he said employees should use the time saved through AI tools to improve the quality and speed of public service delivery. According to the Deputy Chief Minister, the actual benefits reaching citizens should determine the success of AI adoption in government offices.
He urged employees to focus on practical outcomes rather than treating technological advancement merely as an administrative achievement. Bhatti said faster processing of official work should translate into timely responses to public needs.
AI Saksham programme aims to strengthen employee skills
The Deputy Chief Minister said the AI Saksham initiative aimed to improve the technological capabilities of State government employees. He explained that the training would help employees understand emerging AI applications and incorporate them into routine office work.
Additionally, he urged participants to make full use of the programme to strengthen their professional skills. Bhatti stressed that employees needed to keep pace with technological advancements to improve administrative performance.
He said the knowledge gained through training should support more effective and efficient government operations. The programme, organised by TG MATH with Planning Department support, focused on strengthening employees’ ability to use modern technology.
Bhatti Vikramarka observed that AI tools could help employees complete routine administrative tasks more quickly and efficiently. As a result, government offices could devote additional time and attention to addressing citizens’ requirements.
He said technology should help employees manage their responsibilities while improving the responsiveness of government departments. Furthermore, he emphasised that improved administrative efficiency must produce measurable benefits for people seeking government services.
The Deputy Chief Minister encouraged employees to use their training to improve everyday working practices. He reiterated that the objective of AI adoption was not simply to accelerate official procedures.
Instead, he said the technology should contribute to faster grievance resolution, better administrative performance and more effective public services.
