Hyderabad: The Nampally Criminal Court on Monday adjourned the Sandhya Theatre stampede case to July 6.
The court heard submissions from the accused and their counsel during the proceedings.
Actor Allu Arjun attended the hearing through video conference from Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the other accused appeared before the court in person.
The court had earlier summoned the actor in connection with the case.
However, it permitted him to participate virtually due to a prior professional commitment.
Sandhya Theatre stampede case hearing shifted to July 6
Allu Arjun is listed as accused No. 11 (A-11) in the case.
The proceedings relate to the stampede outside Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2.
During the hearing, the actor’s counsel informed the court that Allu Arjun is likely to join the next hearing through video conference as well.
Subsequently, the court posted the matter to July 6 for further proceedings.
The case stems from the stampede that occurred during the film’s premiere in December 2024.
The incident claimed one life.
Several others suffered injuries in the tragedy.
The court will continue hearing the matter on the next scheduled date.
