Hyderabad: TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar bid farewell on Monday after serving more than four years with the state transport corporation. He will now assume charge as Hyderabad City Police Commissioner.
In a farewell note to staff and commuters, Sajjanar called his journey at TGSRTC “four enriching years.” He thanked drivers, conductors, officers, and passengers for their dedication and support.
“My stop has arrived! After steering TGSRTC for over four enriching years, it’s time for me to step off this bus and embark on a new route,” Sajjanar said.
He urged citizens to see public transport not only as a travel option but also as “a choice for a healthier planet and a healthier you.”
Sajjanar added that he would soon share a detailed reflection on his experiences, lessons, and takeaways from his tenure.
