Revanth Reddy launches ₹13,006 crore road development project

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a ₹13,006.27 crore road development project to upgrade and strengthen 441 roads across Telangana. The project will cover 6,092.37 kilometres under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

The Chief Minister unveiled the foundation stone pylon at Kanagal in Nalgonda district. The ceremony took place on the Nalgonda–Devarakonda road near the market yard.

Road development project covers 441 road stretches

The government will execute the road development project under the Hybrid Annuity Model. The initiative aims to improve connectivity by widening and strengthening 441 critical road stretches across the state.

Alongside the road project, Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the first phase of a drinking water scheme for the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation.

The government allocated ₹83 crore for the project. It aims to improve drinking water supply and strengthen utility pipelines for the town’s growing population.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy and Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the programme.

MP Raghuveera Reddy, MLAs Jaiveer Reddy, Bathula Laxma Reddy and Balu Naik, along with MLC Nellikanti Satyam, also participated in the event.
