Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday congratulated V. D. Satheesan on his appointment as the Chief Minister of Kerala and described it as recognition of his long public service and commitment to democratic values.
Revanth Reddy said the V D Satheesan appointment reflected the faith reposed by the people of Kerala in democracy, social justice and inclusive development during the recently concluded Assembly elections.
The Chief Minister stated that the United Democratic Front, led by the Congress, received a clear mandate to govern the state. He added that Satheesan’s political journey and dedication to public welfare earned him the opportunity to lead Kerala.
Revanth Reddy also praised Kerala’s achievements in literacy, public health, grassroots democracy and human development. He said the southern state continued to serve as an example for the rest of the country in several social sectors.

The Telangana Chief Minister expressed confidence that Kerala would witness further progress under Satheesan’s leadership. He said the new government would strengthen education, healthcare, employment generation and equitable growth in the state.
Revanth Reddy further said the Telangana government looked forward to working closely with the Kerala government in areas such as investment promotion, tourism, skill development, knowledge exchange and cooperative federalism.
“On behalf of the government and the people of Telangana, I extend my best wishes to V. D. Satheesan and the people of Kerala for a tenure marked by progress, prosperity and the further deepening of Kerala’s proud democratic traditions,” Revanth Reddy said.
