Hyderabad: The Telangana government organised the 77th Republic Day celebrations with ceremonial grandeur at Parade Ground in Secunderabad on Monday. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma unfurled the national flag and took the salute from the armed forces.
After the flag hoisting, the Governor received the guard of honour. The march past by police forces and NCC cadets drew special attention. The State government organised the event at Parade Ground.
Several senior leaders and officials attended the programme. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was present. Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari and Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy also attended. Ministers, public representatives and senior officers joined the celebrations.

As part of the programme, dignitaries paid floral tributes at the martyrs’ memorial. They honoured those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Officials said the ceremony reflected unity and patriotism.
The celebrations coincided with nationwide observances marking the 77th Republic Day. The occasion commemorated the adoption of the Constitution of India. Security arrangements remained tight throughout the event. Officials ensured the smooth conduct of all ceremonial proceedings.
