Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy advised newly selected deputy collectors to dedicate their careers to sincere public service and welfare activities.
A total of 44 Group-1 probationary deputy collectors from different districts met the minister on Thursday.
Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said the officers secured their positions after competing with many candidates through discipline and hard work.
He urged the young officers to build a good reputation through honest administration and people-centric governance.
Deputy collectors asked to prioritise poor families
The minister said officials should make decisions that benefit the poorest sections of society.
He stated that revenue officers played a key role in responding quickly to public grievances and resolving issues efficiently.
Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy advised the officers to maintain coordination with all departments while performing administrative responsibilities.
He also encouraged them to accept professional challenges with confidence and commitment.
According to the minister, dedicated public service would provide lasting satisfaction and earn public respect.
He further urged the probationary officers to emerge as role models for future generations through ethical conduct and responsible administration.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy and Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the programme along with senior officials.
