PM-KISAN 22nd instalment likely in February, farmers await official word

Hyderabad: The Centre may release the 22nd instalment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme in February, according to official sources.

Officials said the instalment would serve as the first payment for the year 2026. They added that eligible farmers could receive the amount in their bank accounts next month. However, the Union government has not issued any official announcement so far.

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, the Centre provides ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmers in three instalments. More than nine crore farmers across the country have already received benefits under the scheme.

PM-KISAN instalment depends on eligibility compliance

Officials said farmers must complete e-KYC to receive the upcoming PM-KISAN instalment. They also need to update their Unique Farmer ID, bank details, and land records.

Farmers can check their beneficiary status on the official website pmkisan.gov.in. They can verify details using their Aadhaar number or registered mobile number.

Authorities urged farmers to complete all required formalities early. They said timely compliance would help avoid delays in crediting the instalment.
