Palamuru-Rangareddy project land acquisition to be expedited

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to complete land acquisition for the Palamuru-Rangareddy project on a war footing and speed up the process for other irrigation projects in the district.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with ministers and MLAs from the undivided Mahabubnagar district at MCR HRD Institute. During the review, he issued key directions on irrigation projects in the region.

Revanth Reddy said the government would ensure immediate release of funds for land acquisition related to projects in the district. He also said officials would avoid delays in payments linked to the acquisition process.

Further, the Chief Minister said the government was ready to clear pending bills connected to irrigation projects in the undivided Palamuru district.

Palamuru-Rangareddy project progress under review

Revanth Reddy instructed district ministers to conduct regular reviews with district officials on irrigation projects in the undivided Palamuru district. He asked them to closely monitor the progress of the projects from time to time.

Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari attended the meeting. Government Whip Palamuru and MLAs Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, G. Madhusudhan Reddy, Megha Reddy, Dr Rajesh Reddy, Dr Vamshi Krishna and Veerlapally Shankar also participated.

Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy and Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao were present at the meeting along with senior officials.
