Deputy CM PRO Madhusudhan dies after cardiac arrest

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister’s Chief Public Relations Officer Maraboyina Madhusudhan died following a cardiac arrest at a private hospital on Monday.

Madhusudhan cardiac arrest was first reported when he complained of chest pain earlier in the day. He was initially admitted to a local private hospital for treatment. However, his condition worsened, prompting doctors to shift him to Apollo Spectra Hospital.

Doctors treated him at Apollo Spectra. Meanwhile, he suffered another cardiac arrest during treatment. As a result, he died despite medical efforts.

Earlier, Madhusudhan had worked as a senior journalist with leading Telugu media organisations. He handled key responsibilities in publications such as Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi, and Prajashakti. Colleagues described him as a committed and upright journalist throughout his career.

He is survived by his wife and a son.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka expressed deep shock over the death. He said the loss of such an honest journalist was painful. Moreover, he noted Madhusudhan’s dedication to the profession.

The Deputy Chief Minister also prayed for strength for the bereaved family. He added that there was a need to support the family during this difficult time.
