Naveen Yadav thanks voters after big win in Jubilee Hills bypoll

Hyderabad: Congress candidate Naveen Yadav thanked voters for the decisive mandate in the Jubilee Hills bypoll after securing a 24,729-vote victory. Soon after the final count, the Returning Officer handed him the certificate.

Speaking to the media, Naveen Yadav said the Congress leadership, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, senior leaders and workers worked together to secure the win. Moreover, he noted that voters placed clear trust in him. He urged everyone in the constituency to join hands for local development now that the election had ended.

During his comments, he accused the BRS of running a negative campaign. Instead of highlighting its own record, he said, the party focused on false allegations. However, he added that voters rejected each claim and responded with a firm verdict. He said fear no longer influenced the electorate and that people voted with clarity.

Later, Naveen Yadav said he would take every local issue to the Chief Minister for quick action. He also thanked residents for their support and pledged to work with full responsibility.

The final tally showed 98,988 votes for Naveen Yadav, 74,259 for BRS nominee Maganti Sunitha and 17,061 for BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy.
