Kishan Reddy blames AIMIM support and cash flow for Congress win in Jubilee Hills bypoll

Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy said the BJP lost its deposit in the Jubilee Hills bypoll because the party had no strong base in the constituency. He stated that the team still made a full effort during the campaign.

He said the Congress secured its win with help from AIMIM and through the use of money. According to him, voters understood that link. He added that the BJP began a review of the defeat and would study every factor.

Kishan Reddy said the party did not have corporators in the area, which limited its reach. Even so, he said workers tried their best to push the campaign. He repeated that AIMIM support and cash distribution shaped the final outcome.

He said the BJP would respect the public verdict and move ahead with fresh planning. Kishan Reddy added that the party already shifted its focus to the upcoming GHMC elections. He said the review of the bypoll would guide the party’s next steps.
