Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau allegedly caught two municipal officials in a Moinabad ACB trap involving a Rs 75,000 bribe. The alleged payment was linked to a construction project facing action for being treated as illegal.
According to NewsMeter, Town Planning Officer Gundu Vani allegedly demanded the bribe. Senior Assistant Yelamoni Sudarshan allegedly received the amount on Vani’s behalf.
The ACB reportedly recovered the alleged bribe amount from Sudarshan. The officials were subsequently being produced before an ACB court for judicial remand.
