Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Saturday stepped up Congress’s campaign in Chennur town ahead of the upcoming municipal elections, rallying support for party candidates in key wards.
In Padmanagar Colony of the 6th Ward, the Minister conducted a door-to-door campaign alongside Congress candidate Vinay. He interacted with residents and outlined the development and welfare measures launched under the Congress-led government. Appealing for public support, he said the party was committed to transparent and people-focused governance.
Congress promotes inclusive governance, connects with community groups
Later, Minister Vivek campaigned for Congress candidate Mohammed Nazma in the 12th Ward. He engaged with women and youth, highlighting schemes initiated by the Congress after forming the government. He assured voters that the administration remained focused on inclusive development.
At the Chennur town centre, the Minister met with leaders from the Padmashali community association. Reaffirming Congress’s commitment to community welfare, he expressed confidence that the party would secure a decisive mandate in the civic polls.
The campaign saw active participation from Congress leaders, party workers, elected representatives, and large sections of the local public for Chennur municipal elections.
