MeeSeva adds market value certificates, marriage registration with slot booking

Hyderabad: MeeSeva, under the direction of IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, has expanded its services by introducing market value certificates and marriage registration with slot booking.

The Minister, during a detailed review at the Secretariat on Monday, told officials to prioritise innovative, citizen-focused services aimed at improving convenience, transparency, and efficiency.

Officials announced that citizens can now obtain market value certifications for land or apartments without hassle. People can apply through MeeSeva centres or online by submitting property details, including district, mandal, and village. The request is routed to the concerned Sub-Registrar Office, which is expected to approve within 24 hours. Once approved, certificates are instantly printable.

In addition, MeeSeva will handle marriage registrations with an integrated slot booking feature. Applicants must include a wedding invitation card, photographs of the marriage ceremony, residential proof, age proof documents like SSC certificates or passports, and details of three witnesses, who must sign both online and in person.

Applications must be submitted in Form ‘A’, signed by both parties or their guardians, and presented at the Sub-Registrar Office of the marriage venue or the residence jurisdiction of either spouse if they have lived there for at least six months. The SRO will issue final certificates directly, avoiding further visits to MeeSeva.

Officials said these services reflect the state’s drive to digitise and cut down bureaucratic delays. Fast-track approvals for market value certificates and streamlined marriage registration will help individuals, the construction sector, and families.

The expansion is part of Telangana’s wider digital governance plan, which includes MeeSeva kiosks, integration with RTA and PAN services, sand booking, and the T-Fiber project.
