Hyderabad: The Medaram Mini Jatara dates were finalised for February 17 to 20, 2027, marking a four-day festival in Telangana. Priests of Sammakka and Saralamma announced the schedule and said rituals would follow traditional customs.
The festival will begin on February 17 with Saralamma’s ceremonial arrival at the Gadde, the sacred platform. On February 18, priests will bring Sammakka to the Gadde as part of the traditional proceedings.
Devotees from Telangana and neighbouring States are expected to travel to Medaram during the festival. February 19 will be observed as the day for devotees to fulfil their vows to the deities.
The four-day event will conclude on February 20. Meanwhile, officials are preparing arrangements to manage the expected influx of devotees during the festival.

Authorities are focusing on essential facilities ahead of the event. These arrangements include drinking water, sanitation, medical services and transportation for visiting devotees.
