Hyderabad: A Manuguru gang clash between two groups left a 28-year-old youth dead on Thursday. The incident occurred near Rajupeta ground in Old Manuguru of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
The deceased, Simhadri Shiva, belonged to the Gandhi Bomma Center area of Manuguru mandal. He worked as a carpenter and had travelled to Hyderabad for work a few days earlier.
According to locals, Satish, who worked with Shiva, informed him about a dispute involving the MK gang. Following the call, Shiva contacted MK gang leader Ramyakanth.
A heated argument reportedly broke out between Shiva and Ramyakanth over the phone. Shiva later returned to Manuguru on Wednesday to complete marriage-related documentation, according to the source.
On Thursday morning, Ramyakanth reportedly called Shiva and asked him to come to Rajupeta ground near Old Manuguru. Shiva then reached the ground with around 15 people.

Meanwhile, Ramyakanth arrived at the ground with around 25 people. Soon after, members of both groups allegedly attacked each other.
During the clash, members of Ramyakanth’s group allegedly attacked Shiva. They reportedly beat him severely, leaving him dead at the spot.
Police reached the location after receiving information about the incident. Officers began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the clash and Shiva’s death.
The incident created tension in the area following the confrontation between the two groups. Police continued gathering information about those involved in the clash.
