Mahesh Kumar Goud urges voters to elect Congress corporators in Nizamabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud called on voters in Nizamabad to elect Congress corporators who stay close to the people. Addressing a corner meeting at Kotagalli, he said citizens must choose leaders who respond when people call and work daily in the public sphere.

Mahesh Kumar Goud said elections should not reward leaders who disappear after polling day. He urged voters to defeat those who cheated them earlier and teach them a clear lesson through the ballot. He said politics means serving people, not waving hands from behind darkened car windows.

The TPCC Chief attacked BJP leaders for mixing religion with politics. He said their speeches lack seriousness and substance. “Even children laugh at the way BJP leaders speak,” he remarked, accusing them of misleading voters instead of focusing on development.

The TPCC Chief reminded voters that the Chief Minister publicly promised ₹2,000 crore to develop Nizamabad as a model city. He Chief said Congress aims to deliver visible results instead of empty assurances.

Referring to his own record, Mahesh Kumar Goud said he fulfilled a 35-year-old public demand within three months of becoming TPCC president. The Telangana Congress president criticised previous governments for failing to deliver lasting development. He warned voters not to repeat old mistakes. “If someone cheats you once, it is their fault. If it happens again, it becomes ours,” he said.

Mahesh Kumar Goud ended his speech by asking voters to elect hardworking Congress corporators. He said leaders must remain with the people every day, not just during elections.
