Leaders, cadres pay respects to CPI veteran Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The mortal remains of CPI veteran and former MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy were shifted from Care Hospital, Gachibowli, to Makhdoom Bhavan on Sunday morning for public homage.

The body will remain at the CPI state headquarters until 3 p.m., allowing party leaders, cadres, and supporters to pay their last respects. Later, a funeral procession will be taken out up to Gandhi Hospital, where the body will be handed over.

Political leaders offer condolences at Makhdoom Bhavan

Several leaders paid floral tributes at Makhdoom Bhavan. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao expressed deep grief, saying Sudhakar Reddy’s death was an irreparable loss to people’s movements. He prayed for peace to the departed leader’s soul.

Party functionaries and admirers continued to gather at the venue, recalling Sudhakar Reddy’s long contribution to political and public life.
