KTR says Warangal rally will create new history in Telangana politics

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) said that the upcoming Warangal rally would mark a new chapter in the political history of Telangana. He called upon the people from all communities across Telangana to gather in large numbers for the BRS silver jubilee celebrations, which are set to take place at Oorugallu on Sunday.

In preparation for the event, KTR held a teleconference with key party leaders from across the state. During the meeting, he urged party leaders, activists, and the general public to hoist pink flags in every village at dawn and then set out for the rally together.

Highlighting the significance of the event, KTR noted that, as the party is celebrating its 25th anniversary, attendees should wear pink-coloured clothing to the rally. He said that there was tremendous enthusiasm among the public to participate, and emphasised the need to coordinate efficiently to ensure that everyone reached the venue on time.

KTR also suggested that all vehicles carrying participants to the BRS silver jubilee rally should be decorated with pink flags on all sides to add to the festive spirit. He advised organisers to make arrangements for bottled drinking water, packets of buttermilk, and food in every bus to ensure that participants remained comfortable despite the heat.

He informed that route maps had already been shared to prevent traffic jams and instructed all vehicles to adhere strictly to the designated routes when approaching the venue.

Furthermore, KTR directed that no vehicles should be parked along the roads within 30 kilometres of the venue and that drivers should proceed directly to the designated parking areas. He assured that party volunteers would be stationed at multiple points to provide guidance and ensure smooth movement.

Volunteers would also be ready to distribute bottled water and buttermilk packets at various locations to prevent any inconvenience to attendees, he added.

KTR remarked that there was widespread anticipation surrounding Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s (KCR) address at the historic rally. He reiterated his belief that the Warangal rally would indeed create a new milestone in the state’s political landscape.
