Komatireddy Venkat Reddy tells officials to fast-track road and building projects

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has instructed officials to speed up pending infrastructure projects under the R&B department, particularly those close to completion.

Reviewing progress at the Secretariat on Sunday, the Minister emphasised prioritising projects like Rail Over Bridges (ROBs), medical colleges, and TIMS hospitals that are in their final stages. He stressed the importance of completing Warangal and Mulugu Integrated District Office Complexes (IDOCs) without delay.

He reviewed five IDOC projects in Adilabad, Warangal, Mulugu, Narayanpet, and Karimnagar, and directed immediate action to ready the Warangal and Mulugu facilities for inauguration.

In particular, he called for fast-tracking the Madhavnagar ROB in Nizamabad and urged focus on all ongoing ROB and healthcare infrastructure projects.

Highlighting that Greater Hyderabad sees over 91 lakh vehicles on its roads daily, he said improving road networks in both cities and villages must remain a priority.

He also assured that pending contractor payments will be taken up with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.

Senior officials, including ENC Tirumala and Chief Engineers Mohan Naik, Rajeshwar Reddy, and Lakshman, attended the meeting.
