Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy urged job creators among students, asking them to move beyond seeking employment.
He spoke at the “Silver Synergy” celebrations marking 25 years of the MBA Department of S.D. Signodia College and MCA Department of N.B. Science College on Saturday.
The Minister described the event as a milestone for both institutions. He said they had consistently delivered quality education and shaped thousands of students over 25 years.
He added that the celebrations reflected the collective effort of management, faculty, students, and alumni.
Job creators among students key to future growth
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said students must define clear goals and develop a strong vision. He stressed that innovation and determination would help them succeed.
“You should not remain job seekers. You must become job creators,” he said. He also referred to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam while stressing the importance of vision.
The Minister said he had set a goal to become a Minister four decades ago. He added that clarity of purpose helped individuals achieve success.
During the visit, he returned to N.B. Science College after 44 years. He recalled his Intermediate education at the institution and visited his old classroom.
Job creators among students supported by infrastructure
The Minister announced a donation of 50 modern computers to the college. He said such facilities would support students in gaining practical skills.
Komatireddy expressed gratitude to his teachers and said the institution had shaped his life. He also said he chose this event over attending a reunion of CBIT batchmates in the United States.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed confidence that the institutions would continue to grow. He said they would contribute to society by nurturing skilled graduates.
Agarwal Shiksha Samiti President Pramod Kumar Kedia and Chairman Dr. Shyam Sunder attended the programme. Several other members and officials were also present.
