Hyderabad: The Komatireddy Sushilamma Foundation, headed by Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, reaffirmed its focus on education and healthcare in the constituency on Monday.
Komatireddy inaugurates ₹1.5 crore classrooms at Marriguda
Rajgopal Reddy and Foundation Chairperson Komatireddy Lakshmi inaugurated ₹1.5 crore worth of new classrooms at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Marriguda mandal. The foundation funded the entire construction from its own resources.
During the event, Rajgopal Reddy said the foundation remains ready to address any public concern in Munugode. He highlighted its record of conducting free eye camps for 10,000 people and facilitating 1,500 surgeries.
Chairperson Lakshmi said no political office is required to serve the people. The MLA and his wife also served lunch to the students.
Community leaders join the initiative
Several public representatives attended the event. They included DCCB Chairman Kumbham Srinivas Reddy, KGBV Special Officer Jyothi, MEO Srinivas, MPDO Munayya, former ZPTC member Pasham Surender Reddy, Marriguda Mandal Congress president Ramdas Srinivas, and Block Congress president Vennamaneni Ravinder Rao.
