KCR’s inspiring Women’s Day message highlights women’s vital role

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) extended his heartfelt wishes to the women of the state on the occasion of International Women’s Day. In his message, KCR highlighted the indispensable role women play in both family structures and nation-building.

Acknowledging Women’s Sacrifices

KCR emphasized that women’s sacrifices are paramount in advancing family systems. He noted that, as citizens, their contributions to creating national wealth are immense. Despite facing numerous challenges, women today stand shoulder to shoulder with men, showcasing their remarkable roles in society. He asserted that when given opportunities, women, once considered vulnerable, have proven their strength and capabilities.

BRS Initiatives for Women’s Empowerment

Reflecting on the decade-long governance of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KCR highlighted various programs implemented for women’s welfare and empowerment. He recalled that during the ten-year rule of the BRS, several programs aimed at women’s welfare and empowerment were implemented. He emphasized that the government prioritized women’s health, protection, and welfare, integrating them into key development schemes. KCR noted that the BRS administration involved women in Telangana’s progress and stressed the importance of continuing this focus to further the state’s development.
