KBR Park one-way traffic inspected by Hyderabad CP Sajjanar

Hyderabad: Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected KBR Park one-way traffic on a motorcycle on Thursday and said vehicle movement had become smooth after initial confusion.

Sajjanar conducted the field inspection at around 10 am without any official fanfare. Wearing civilian clothes, he travelled on a motorcycle to personally observe traffic conditions. The Commissioner rode twice around the newly introduced one-way traffic corridor surrounding KBR Park.

He started from Road No. 45 and travelled through Jubilee Checkpost, Venkatagiri and the KBR Park main gate. Sajjanar then covered Mugdha Junction, Basavatarakam, Agrasen Junction and Film Nagar Junction before returning to Road No. 45.

KBR Park one-way traffic reviewed twice by CP

The Commissioner again reviewed traffic conditions during the afternoon. During the second inspection, he visited Agrasen Junction, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony and Jubilee Checkpost.

He also reviewed conditions near the KBR Park main gate and other junctions. Moreover, Sajjanar interacted with police personnel deployed at these locations and sought details about conditions on the ground.

He said KBR Park one-way traffic had been moving smoothly by Thursday. According to the Commissioner, police had introduced the one-way arrangement on Wednesday.

Motorists faced some confusion over lane changes on the first day. However, traffic movement had become smooth by the following day, he said. Sajjanar said police had installed clear signboards at all major junctions to prevent inconvenience to motorists.

Adequate police personnel had also been deployed to guide road users and manage traffic. The Commissioner reviewed both vehicle movement and field-level traffic management during his motorcycle inspections.

He said these measures were helping motorists adapt to the revised traffic system around the park. Police personnel remained stationed at key intersections to assist commuters and maintain orderly movement.

KBR Park one-way traffic linked to H-CITI works

Sajjanar said Hyderabad Police had been coordinating with GHMC and the construction agency over the ongoing H-CITI project. Authorities were taking steps to complete the project works as quickly as possible, he said.

Meanwhile, the temporary traffic arrangements would remain important for managing movement around the construction zone. The Commissioner asked Hyderabad residents to cooperate with authorities until the works were completed.

He also urged motorists to follow instructions issued by Hyderabad Traffic Police while using roads around KBR Park. The KBR Park one-way traffic arrangement was being monitored at field level to reduce inconvenience and maintain smooth vehicle movement during the H-CITI works.
