Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday described Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy as an “RSS Chief Minister” and demanded the removal of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar from the Union Cabinet.
Kavitha made the remarks while addressing the Way2News Conclave in Hyderabad.
She said she had no differences with “Movement KCR” during the Telangana statehood agitation. However, she stated that she differed with “Chief Minister KCR” and “BRS party chief KCR.”
RSS Chief Minister remark made at Hyderabad conclave
Referring to the Delhi Excise Policy case, Kavitha alleged that she did not receive adequate support from her own family.
She claimed that opinions she had expressed internally later became public, which forced her to leave the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
Kavitha said political power in Telangana would eventually belong to the Telangana Rakshana Sena party, irrespective of when elections were held.
“My only wish is that my name should remain in history for the good I have done for the people of Telangana,” she said.
She added that difficult experiences and bitter situations had transformed her both personally and politically.
RSS Chief Minister allegation linked to political change
Kavitha said she formed the Telangana Rakshana Sena to bring qualitative political change in the state.
She urged people to follow what they believed was right, regardless of external approval.
Calling K. Chandrashekar Rao a “great human being,” she said he fulfilled the long-standing dream of Telangana statehood.
Kavitha also said she entered politics after drawing inspiration from B.R. Ambedkar and aimed to bring change through constitutional and democratic methods.
She spoke about the challenges women faced in politics and said society judged women leaders more harshly after failures.
“The responsibility for the women of our state and the country rests on my shoulders. If I succeed, more women will enter politics with confidence,” she said.
Kavitha also advised young women to avoid depression and face challenges with a positive mindset. (NSS)
