Justice PC Ghose Commission report likely to be submitted to govt on Monday

Hyderabad: Justice PC Ghose Commission is likely to submit its report on the Kaleshwaram Project to the Telangana government on Monday morning, ahead of the Telangana cabinet meeting scheduled in the afternoon. The report, prepared with an emphasis on transparency and credibility, could be formally presented to the cabinet the same day, sources indicated.

The submission follows the earlier handover of the Justice Madan B Lokur Commission report, which investigated irregularities in the state’s power sector. With both inquiry reports now ready, the cabinet is expected to take them up for review and approval, paving the way for further action.

Justice PC Ghose arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday and was received by Deputy ENC K. Srinivas and CE Vijayabhaskar Reddy.

Official sources hinted that the cabinet’s endorsement of both reports could be imminent, setting the stage for legal or administrative steps based on the findings.
